Glide down Suldalslågen in a dry suit and experience the fascinating underwater world of wild salmon and sea trout.
Experienced safari guides from Mo Laksegard Salmon Farm will give you a short introduction to behaviour and safety on Suldalslågen before you make your way downstream in the waters of the salmon farm. While one safari guide accompanies the group in the canoe, another guides you through the approximately 2.5 kilometre stretch in the water. The diving mask gives you the unique opportunity to observe salmon and sea trout – an unforgettable experience. Suldalslågen is particularly famous for its impressive salmon, which often weigh over 20kg. However, this safari is not about catching salmon, but about swimming side by side with them and observing them.
A dry suit (or a thermal suit in winter), diving mask and snorkel are provided by Mo Laksegard. Suitable clothing includes a T-shirt and shorts. The total duration of the activity is 2.5 hours, including an introduction to behaviour and safety (excluding arrival and departure). The group size varies from 6 to 30 participants and all participants are expected to be able to swim. The season runs from 15 June to 1 December.
Register by 9.00pm the evening before the safari.
